Penthouse is a South Korean drama series that first premiered in October 2020 on SBS. The drama is written by Kim Soon-ok, the writer of the popular drama series "Mrs. Cop" and "The Last Empress," and directed by Joo Dong-min. The series stars Lee Ji-ah, Eugene, and Uhm Ki-joon as the main characters.
The drama is set in the world of luxury high-rise apartments, known as "Penthouses," and follows the lives of the wealthy residents living in the fictional Hera Palace. The story centers around three women: Shim Su-ryeon, a successful businesswoman who will do anything to protect her family; Cheon Seo-jin, a ruthless leader of the residents' association; and Oh Yoon-hee, an ambitious and talented music teacher who is desperate to climb the social ladder.
